March 28, 2023.- Minister David Collado was recognized by the Florida and Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) for the record numbers that the country has reached in the arrival of cruise passengers, during the celebration of the roadshow carried out by the Ministry of Tourism to 200 tour operators and travel agencies specialized in cruise tourism, in the city of Miami Florida.

The recognition was given, for the second time, to Collado for his contributions to the development and growth of cruise tourism in the Dominican Republic, which in 2022 closed as the best year for Quisqueya, with 1.3 million cruise passengers, a record number for the country. .

The FCCA is a non-profit trade association made up of the major cruise lines that operate more than 100 ships in Florida, the Caribbean and Latin America.
